  It was fine, nothing extraordinary. Ordered a filet mignon with a half rib. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, rare just like I asked and the seasoning was very good. The ribs were very well cooked but the sauce was too sweet for my taste. The salad that I had in appetizer had a good taste but was a bit drowned in sauce. The meats came with a mashed potato on the side which was pretty good.

  Ordered the Mexicali plate off of the two for one menu. I grew up in LA and have also lived in Dallas for many years so I have tasted the best Mexican and Tex Mex dishes and even some of the not so great. The Mexicali plate at Barbies was the worst of the worst. The sauce in the nachos (why is there a sauce to begin with?) was Tobasco sauce! The rice was also made with Tobasco and lacked any spices. The two fajitas consisted of chunks of chicken and melted cheese wrapped in a flour tortillas! Clearly whomever came up with this plate has been neither south or west of Quebec! Please take a trip and taste the real food!
